Amnesty International USA We're sad to report that yesterday a Russian court has upheld the decision to refuse parole for 24 year-old Masha Alekhina, a member of the punk band Pussy Riot, jailed last year for performing a protest song in a cathedral. This decision is further confirmation of the authorities' determination to stifle freedom of expression in Russia. Tomorrow is band memeber Nadia's hearing. Keep sending those messages.
